of inner areas and space organization elements serve as its continuation. The villa configuration implements the complex connection between the inner and outer parts. As an example of this, the shape of the windows repeat the shape of the main shape, opening exciting views on the old town and the German National Literature archive on one side and the Neckar river on the other. The three- floor three-part structure adapted to the landscape changes on each level smoothly changes into public promenade areas, which make the house an organic element of the landscape and one of the topographic sites. Indoor and outdoor pools, located at different ends of the house at different levels, occupy significant areas of the site. The architects underlined a par- ticular significance of this area, using it as one more connection between the outer environment and the private space. The indoor pool separated from the natural environment by panoramic glazing is the element that signifies the transition to the more secluded private areas. The outer appearance of the villa is something that makes you think of the future, while the interior makes you remember the past. Under the roof of Dupli Casa you feel like in a museum: there are all the significant objects of the Vitra furniture design: the Charles and Ray Eames armchair, the Verner Panton chair, the Park Sofa of Jasper Morrison, and the Zeppelin chandelier from the Flos factory (Marcel Wanders’ design) is hanging from the wall. The owners have a good taste, and the same can be said about the experi- enced architect.

Адаптированная к изменениям ландшафта трехчастная трехэтажная структура на каждом уровне плавно перетекает в общественные прогулочные зоны, что делает дом органичным элементом пейзажа и одной из топографических особенностей. Значительное пространство территории занимают открытый и закрытый бассейны, рас- положив их на разных уровнях в разных концах дома. Архитекторы подчеркнули особую значимость этой зоны, вместе с тем используя ее как еще одну связующую нить между внешней средой обитания и приватным пространством. Отделенный от природного окруже- ния панорамным остеклением внутренний бассейн осуществляет плавный переход к более закрытым частным зонам. Если впечатление от внешнего вида виллы навевает мысли о будущем, то интерьер, напротив, заставляет вспомнить прошлое. Под крышей Dupli casa чувствуешь себя, как в музее – тут собраны все знаковые объекты мебельного дизайна компании Vitra – кресло Чарльза и Рея Эймзов, стулья Вернера Пантона, Park Sofa Джаспера Моррисона, потолок украшает люстра Zeppelin фабрики Flos (дизайнер Марсель Вандерс). В хорошем вкусе хозяевам не откажешь, как и искушенному архитектору.
