Sie werden vor allem gewählt, wenn Flexibilität und kleine Biegeradien im Vordergrund stehen.  für sichere, einfache und zeitsparende Standortwechsel kälte- und klimatechnischer Systeme sowie Wärmepumpen;  Besonders geeignet für zeitweilige Installationen bei denen feste Leitungsverlegungen ungeeignet sind. Elastomer refrigerant lines have a smaller bending radius than comparable hoses made of thermoplastic material and are more flexible, but have higher permeabilities.
