Improved V profile clamp assembly

allows the prefixing of the clamp during assembly and, compared to conventional V profile clamps, helps to eliminate the risk of tilting of the screw. Easy to install using standard tools, the clamp helps to reduce assembly time. The Normaconnect V PP profile clamp has been optimised for extremely tight packaging spaces and is particularly suitable for motor vehicle applications such as exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems and charged air connections. It is characterised by low weight, which in turn helps to reduce the overall weight of the systems.

Norma Group has launched an innovative V profile clamp that allows ease of assembly. The new Normaconnect V PP profile clamp has been designed to meet the requirements for tight packaging spaces in the motor vehicle industry. Normaconnect V PP profile clamps are patented connecting elements for flange pipes used in various applications including exhaust gas, cooling and filter systems, as well as turbochargers and charged air applications. The Normaconnect V PP profile clamp will be produced in the company’s facility in Gerbershausen, Germany, and it is expected that around 1.3mn clamps will be manufactured in 2013.
