As a result of this, a BW1185J2 with a removable water jacket was developed from feedback from customers in the field and named the BW1185J2B. This new tube design enabled several Indian customers to clean out the waterways in the tube if they became blocked, rather than throw the tube away if it was an ordinary BW1185J2 with a brazed-on water jacket. e2v provides a high level of technical support, and its experts are on hand to help with the selection and use of its products.

e2v is a manufacturer of award-winning electronic devices and sub-systems, including a complete range of power grid tubes specifically designed for demanding industrial markets such as tube and pipe welding.
