International metal & steel trade fair for Southeast Asia

The first international metal & steel trade fair for Southeast Asia is set to take place at a time and location where the demand for raw materials and processing technologies in Indonesia and its neighbouring countries is on the rise. To be held from 20 to 23 February 2013 at Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Indonesia, the trade fair has been generating positive feedback not only from the industry but also from its partner organisations. Sofianto Widjaja, general manager of PT WAKENI, said: “Initial discussions with potential exhibitors and partner associations from the metal and steel industries reaffirm our decision in organising this exhibition together with Messe Düsseldorf Asia in Jakarta. The theme ‘forging ahead in Indonesia’s dynamic metal and steel industry’ clearly reflects the immense potential and demand for these sectors and indometal 2013 as a dedicated platform that will serve these industries in Indonesia,” he said.
