• Work patients up thoroughly • Identify and alleviate obstructive prostates beforehand • Tailor the seed activity according to the volume – NB volume measurement of the prostate should always be done at initial assessment prior to referral

• Optimal procedure setup, good u/s visualization • Accurate contouring of structures of interest • Critically observe dose constraints
