UPDATE ON ADDITIONAL VALIDATIONS AND NEXT STEPS FOR THE METHOD 

• Validation Materials/Test Samples • Selection—completed  • Homogeneity testing—on some Magruder samples • Method “updates” • Identified applicability challenge for a certain type of fertilizers in‐house • Why isn’t it done yet? • Samples identified have not arrived, so have to choose new samples? • Priorities changed upon receipt of FDA grant • Can PTP data be mined and used for statistical data? • Guidance?

• Validation Materials/Test Samples • Assuming previous samples cannot be attained, will identify replacement samples • Update Collaborative Study Protocol • Method “updates” • More labs are participating in PTP using method code • Assisted several state laboratories with challenges with method • Extension of Time? • Adjust timeline to allow for new sample identification & updated protocol • Request 18 month extension on submitting final data
