KPL to Go App Kearney Public Library is excited to announce our new “KPL to Go” application for Android and Apple devices. This app allows you to access our services from anywhere you have mobile access. The app is free, and can be found by searching for “KPL to Go” in the Google Play store on Android or the App Store on Apple devices. The app will give you easy access to our online catalog, as well as our OverDrive catalog of Audio and eBook titles, which can be downloaded directly to your device. You can also access your library account to place holds, renew items, and view your current checkouts. “ KPL to Go” also offers Book Look, which is a feature that allows you to scan the UPC code or enter the ISBN number of any book to see if it is in our catalog. If the item is available at KPL you can simply place a hold from your mobile device. This feature makes it easy to see if the library has a specific item without having to call or find a computer with internet access. The app also has an event calendar that allows you to find times and descriptions of library events. There is also a built-in link to our Facebook page where you can interact with us and with other library patrons. Some of the other app features include library hours, contact information, and a map showing the location of the library. We will also be adding more content soon, including reading lists. We hope you take advantage of the “KPL to Go” app to make it easier to use our services on the go. You are only one download away from enjoying your library in a new way. Download the app or ask a staff member for help today!
