how has iPROMOTEu changed MY LIFE? Now that I’m old, my affiliation allows me the luxury of playing golf 3 times a week and still offer my long-time customers great service and they don’t even realize I’m not grinding away in the office. Plus, thanks to iPROMOTEu and their Preferred Supplier programs, I have a new refrigerator, large screen TV, wine cooler, clothes, perfume, etc. etc. It’s great to make a lot of money but it is even better to be genuinely appreciated as shown by the honor of being the recipient of the 1st Tommy Joyce Memorial Award; it is one of my all-time most cherished awards in 40+ years of business. Thank you Ross! You had the foresight to put together such a Top Notch group and it just gets better every day. Most of the affiliates say, why didn’t I think of that? everyone to lunch, we all fit at two 8-foot tables at the restaurant across the street. I recall as iPROMOTEu continued to grow I went from listening to supplier customer service representatives ask “IMPROMPTUE, what is IMPROMPTUE?” to the point we are at today. As a “Top 10 Distributor” in our industry, everyone wants to do business with and knows iPROMOTEu. This quick name recognition changed not only from additional affiliates but was also due to Ross’ hard work running around to the booths of our Preferred Suppliers prior to each tradeshow and slapping an “iPROMOTEu Preferred” sign in a conspicuous location, much to the chagrin of competitors. I recall a couple of conversations with Ross. In one I mentioned how great it was that iPROMOTEu was growing by leaps and bounds but that I hoped the rapid growth wouldn’t affect their serviceability of current affiliates. Ross reassured me and more than lived up to his promise of adding people and systems when necessary. Ross has also hosted GREAT events that are fun (with numerous Boston highlights of food and history), and included educationally constructive supplier meetings. As we all know, if one attends a Ross Silverstein event, it is first class and participants want for nothing. Through the years, a few of the best services that iPROMOTEu has provided to Shamrock Promos are: the monetary backing which allows us to take on virtually any size order; considerable savings from Importers like NeoSources; Cliff Quicksell’s creative mind which is second to none should an affiliate choose to use his services; and the EQP we receive with just about every vendor which allows us to be more than competitive. iPROMOTEu allows me to appear to be larger than I really am and their invoicing for my orders has been a godsend for a person that is as disorganized as I am and has no desire to mess with paperwork. When I decided to affiliate with iPROMOTEu in 2004, they were very small and fairly new in our industry. They did however, seem to have a platform that made perfect sense and appeared to be a WIN/WIN for them and for me. It took a few days to convince myself to go with the upstart but I have never regretted a day or looked back and wished I had done something differently.
