KLASSIFIKATION HOTELS   Alle mit Sternen sowie weiteren Basis- und Spezialisierungskategorien klassierten Betriebe erfüllen die Normen und Qualitätsanforderungen der offiziellen Schweizer Hotelklassifikation und wurden durch Experten von hotelleriesuisse geprüft und eingestuft. Die Sterne von hotelleriesuisse sind ein geschütztes Markenlabel. KLASSIFIKATION HOTELS   Die Schweizer Hotelklassifikation GastroSuisse ist ein einheitliches System und gilt in der ganzen Schweiz. Die Hotels werden anhand definierter und für die Einstufung verbindlicher Kriterien, die auf den Empfehlungen des europäischen Verbandes HOTREC basieren, klassifiziert und in Kategorien von 1-Stern bis 5-Sterne eingeteilt. KLASSIFIKATION FERIENWOHNUNGEN UND GÄSTEZIMMER Ferienwohnungen und Gästezimmer ergänzen das Angebot der Hotellerie, werden aber nach anderen Kriterien bewertet. Der Schweizer Tourismus- Verband STV hat in der Schweiz 22’000 Objekte offiziell klassifiziert. Die Bewertung erfolgt nach Muss-Kriterien und einem Punktesystem. Die Kategorien reichen von einem bis maximal fünf Sterne. Objekte mit höherem Komfort, welche die Punktzahl der nächsthöheren Kategorie erreichen, erhalten den Zusatzvermerk «Superior».

HOTEL STAR RATINGS All star-rated, basic and specialist accommodation meets the official norms and quality standards for Swiss hotels and has been assessed and rated by experts from the hotelleriesuisse Swiss Hotel Association. The hotelleriesuisse stars are a registered trademark. HOTEL STAR RATINGS The Swiss hotel classification GastroSuisse is a unified system and applies in Switzerland. The hotels are classified and categorized from 1-star to 5-star based on defined criteria, which are adapted from the recommen- dations of the European HOTREC. STAR RATINGS FOR HOLIDAY APARTMENTS AND PRIVATE ROOMS Holiday apartments and private rooms complement the range of accommodation offered by hotels and are assessed according to different criteria. The Swiss Tourism Federation (STF) has provided official ratings for 22,000 holiday rentals in Switzerland. They are assessed according to a set of mandatory criteria and a points system. The ratings range from one to five stars, although accommodation offering higher levels of comfort and attaining the number of points required for the category above is also granted Superior status.
