Retail Update

• We are working on final details to place shared demos in 212 Publix stores with Leslie Stowe Rain Coast Crisps. The promotion will feature Rogue, Valley Ford, Marin French, and Point Reyes. • We have proposed to Hy-Vee a shared demo program for up to 30 stores, partnering with Gallo Wines. Mike Levy is looking to visit Des Moines in November prior to PLMA to discuss new items for 2018 and see some stores. • Ibotta promotion is still active supporting new placement of Glen Oaks Drinkable Yogurt in six western divisions of Wal-Mart. Response has been slow but steady as expected. • Lipari Foods sent 8 contest winners (and their cheese category purchasing manager) to California for plant tours as part of our introductory program with them to support King Cheese, Sierra Nevada, Marin French and Di Stefano. Tours were done at Marin French, Nicasio, Rizo Lopez, Fiscalini and a table top event was conducted that included Sierra Nevada, Bel Fiore, Bellwether and Pacific Gold. • Mike Levy has arranged a meeting in San Antonio with GFI and the specialty cheese manager for H-E-B in mid-November to discuss their ideas for a “REAL CA” cheese festival in early 2018. • Mike Levy and Jim Dimataris met with Safeway private label milk purchasing team to discuss the addition of “RCM” to the bulk of their fluid milk for Safeway/Von’s/Albertson’s stores in Nor Cal and So Cal, approximately 650 total stores. We have approved a News America coupon placement for Cycle 13 (December) to assist with this launch. This team is responsible for other processed milk items and we see this as an investment in a larger potential going forward. • Mike met with Sweetaly (frozen desserts) and Copper Cow (individual milk packs for coffee) and has followed up with IRC’s to help their new placements in CA and H-E-B. • We will be sending IRC’s to Busseto soon to support the launch of 16oz. party packs and 6 individual snack packs. We’re working on getting labels signed off. Distribution of 16oz. is going East (believe it is Shaw’s) and the six pack will be in Raley’s and Bel-Air here in California. Mike Levy connected them with Pacific Cheeses for sourcing. • Bob Carroll, Mike Levy and Jim Dimataris met with Pacific Cheese in Reno to discuss their expansion plans for 2018 into private label retail. Target will be
