CORSAIR K68

Corsair have entered into the relatively empty market of dust and water-resistant keyboards with the K68.

throwing your keyboard in the bath and expecting it to still work, the per-key silicone rubber shields will protect against most spills and crumbs, giving you no excuse for not being at the peak of your game. Corsairs Utility Engine program is also compatible with the K68, allowing you to universally map macros and other shortcuts to your keys, as well as customise your lighting. You’ll be seeing red in no time.

S imilar to the K63, but with an added numpad on the right-hand side, the K68 offers dust and spill resistance, so you need no longer be worried about spilling a drink or food on your keyboard. Sure, it’s not a very common occurrence, but when it does happen it can mean the end for your tech. The K68 is a mechanical

keyboard featuring Corsair’s CHERRY MX Red switches (a little quieter than other mechanical switches), as well as fully customisable red backlighting that can be mapped to individual keys or profiles. Anti-ghosting and full key rollover means that you don’t need to worry about pressing multiple keys at once – Corsair has you covered.

Media controls are situated on the keyboard’s top right, meaning no more alt-tabbing to control your music; it’s all at the tip of your finger. The company has also added the Windows key lock button, so that’s the end of accidentally hitting the Windows button and destroying that killer killstreak. While you won’t be able to go

F eaturing Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound and USB connectivity, the CLOUD Revolver S (CRS) is a fairly standard headset. Compatible with Xbox One, PS4, PC, Wii U and Mobile, the CRS features a couple of different connectivity options: a single 3.5mm jack, a double 3.5mm jack (audio/voice), and USB. It features an in-line control on the USB connection that allows you to independently adjust headset and mic volume, as well as a handy mute button. Depending on your connection, though, you won’t have your in-line controls, so you might want to take into account your console of choice before committing to this. The CRS is simple to look at; it doesn’t look like you’re wearing a pilot’s headset, but you’re not in bargain bin territory either. Featuring 50mm drivers, the headset is on the bigger side (by no means a bad thing), and provides good quality surround

very flexible as far as placing or movement is concerned. The headset itself also has no means of volume/mute control. Closed back provides good, locational sound, and the in-line controller features a choice of different profiles that can be programmed. It’s plug and play, with no need to download software, and once you get used to not being able to control the volume on the unit itself, the CLOUD Revolver S is a reliable, elementary headset.
