Blainecont.. left the starting rotation after that win, turning in six strong performances in a row- propelling USD into the WCC Champio nships and NCAA Regionals. . Was 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA during that six game span... During a three week stretch in April the Torero offense provided little to no run support for Blaine, going scoreless through 16 plus innings...
