Sophomore in 2003: Made 11 starts and 21 total appearances... Broke USO out of an early season losing streak by throwing seven plus innings, beating UC Riverside (2-17-03) on the road ... Struck out a career-high six while starting and pitching seven complete innings in a win over San Fran- cisco (3-16-03) ... Won again during four p lus innings o f work vs. St. Mary's (4-19-03) ... Finished the season 4-3 with an ERA of 6.03 ... Made two post season appearances, striking out two in as many innings against Notre Dame ... Totaled 31 K's and walked 19 over the course of the season. Freshman in 2002: Helped USO win the 2002 West Coast Conference Championship... Made 21 appearances and five starts... Pitched eight plus innings during a Sunday start against Gonzaga (4-28-02) fanning four and yielding just two runs on five hits to allow San Diego a key conference victory...
