*The West Coast Conference has existed for baseball from 1968-76 and 1985-Present. USO joined the baseball league in 1985. The eight-team WCC baseball league as we know it has been in ex istence since 1996 when Portland and Gonzaga were added, both making the move from the Pac- IONorth . The current two-division format began in 1999. Prior to 1985 USO was a member of the Southern Cali fornia Baseball Association, initiating Division I play in 1979.
