COACHING STAFF

Hill earned his Bachelor ofArts degree (Physical Education) in 1984 from California Lutheran University. After playing one season with the St. Louis Cardinals organization in 1985 (Single A afftliate in Savannah, Georgia), he returned to his alma mater where he earned his Master of Science degree in Education in 1988. Rich and his wife, Lori, live in San Diego with their two children, Robbie (10) and Lindsey (7). In six years under the direction of Rich Hill, the San Diego baseball program... earned a national ranking of #15 (4/ 25/ 02) by Baseball America, its highest in school history... has appeared in consecutive NCAA Tou rnament's... was recognized as one of Collegiate Baseball Newspapers' Fabulous-4Ocollegiate baseball programs (12/ 19/03) ... challenged a non-conference schedule which ranked #2 nationally by NATIONAL ACCOLADES...
