Thanksgiving Buffet, November 24th

North Atlanta Challenge Cup vs. the Golf Club of Georgia, November 5th & 6th Horseshoe Bend CC will take on The Golf Club of Georgia in a two day event utilizing both golf courses. On the first day, the HBCC team will travel to play at The Golf Club of Georgia, and on the second day, the final matches will be at Horseshoe Bend CC. Each day will begin with a 9:00am shotgun start with food and beer following play. The cost for this two day event is $100 per player. If more than 12 players sign up, we will have a drawing on November 2nd. Registration is available through the link sent in the weekly E-blast. Are you ready to test your game against our golf course on Tough Day? Saturday, November 12th, we welcome you to take on the golf course at its toughest! This year’s Tough Day event allows you to choose from three flights based on the tees you choose to play. Competitors can choose to play from the red, white, or our Tough Day tees. If you would like to play in this event, submit your tee time request in the lottery by Tuesday, November 8th! Our One Day Men’s Member/Guest Tournament includes lunch, available from 11:30-12:45pm, a 1:00pm shotgun, prizes, and drinks after play in the Jockey Room. The cost for this event is $130 for one member and one guest. Members may invite up to 3 guests to play in the event. The cost for each additional guest is $65. Signups are available through November 14th through the link sent in the weekly E-blast. If you have not already signed up, hurry to reserve your spot! Don’t want to cook and clean?!?! Join us at Horseshoe Bend CC for the perfect (and easy) Thanksgiving Buffet! Chef Tom and his team will prepare all your turkey day favorites with something sure to please everyone. Seatings are available at 12:00pm and 1:30pm. The price is $28.95 for adults, $13.95 for children 8 to 12, and $8.95 for children 4 to 7. Children under 4 are complimentary. Cancellations after November 20th will be charged. Reservations are a must and can be made through the member portal or by calling the Clubhouse at 770-992-2310. Each year, Horseshoe Bend CC recognizes and celebrates its Champions’ in golf, tennis, swim, and social tournaments! Invitations for this prestigious event have been sent to all 2016 Champions. The Grandstand Tavern will close at 3:00pm on Tuesday, November 15th to accommodate this invitation only event. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope to see everyone in the Tavern on Wednesday night to enjoy our popular Fall menu! We look forward to celebrating with you! Thanksgiving Day Hours of Operation We are excited to host everyone who has made a reservation for the Thanksgiving Buffet and wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and safe travels! The Clubhouse will close at 3:00pm, after the Thanksgiving Buffet and reopen with regular hours on Friday. Interested in joining us on Thanksgiving? Beginning Tuesday, November 1st, the hours of operation for the Tennis & Swim Clubhouse will be:

Saturday & Sunday Monday - Thursday 9:00am to 6:00pm 9:00am to 7:00pm

Friday

9:00am to 9:30pm

Thanksgiving Day Hours of Operation

The Tennis & Swim Clubhouse will be open from 9:00am to 1:00pm (weather permitting) on Thanksgiving Day.

ALTA End of Season Party, November 18th

Join us at our award-winning tennis facility to celebrate our summer and fall ALTA seasons on Friday, November 18th starting at 6:30pm! Season awards will be handed out recognizing numerous categories including: Most Valuable Player, Most Improved, Best Team, Best Captain, and Coach’s Award. Players are encouraged to stop by the Tennis & Swim Clubhouse front desk for a ballot to cast your vote! The night will feature activities for the whole family, so make sure to bring the kids. The on-court component will finish with a “hit for prizes”, open to all ALTA summer and fall players. The fun will continue in the Vantage Point Bar with awards, a buffet, and drinks by signature. Every Friday evening, the Tennis & Swim Clubhouse holds a Friday Night Tennis Social. For members looking for a social environment, a cocktail before dinner in the Grandstand Tavern, or a place to meet new friends, this is the place to be between 5:00pm and 9:30pm! Thinking about trying out your game? The night is open to players of all levels to come out and experience the award winning facility. Keep in mind, if you don’t play tennis, it doesn’t matter! Thanksgiving Day Shotgun, November 24th

Plan to squeeze in a round of golf before enjoying your turkey? Sign up for our Thanksgiving Day Shotgun! The shotgun will begin at 9:00am, and we are asking that all carts be returned by 1:30pm. Registration is available through the link sent in the weekly E-blast. The Golf Staff wishes you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!

Kids’ Night Out , November 5th

Stay Connected!

Fall is officially here, so it is time for Horseshoe Bend CC kids to celebrate at Kids Night Out! This event will be action-packed with games and activities all night long. Sign the kids up, then make an adult-only dinner reservation for the Grandstand Tavern. Kids Night Out will be at the Tennis and Swim Clubhouse from 5:00-9:00pm on Saturday, November 5th for kids ages 5-12 years old. Dinner will be provided, including make-your-own s’mores by the fire pit! Reservations are a must for this popular event, and price per child is $21.95. Reservations can be made through the member portal on the HBCC website. Cancellations after November 2nd will be charged. Gumdrops, peppermints, candy canes and more, a sweet celebration is in store. Decorate a house, eat a cookie or two, we have a gingerbread house just waiting for you! Join us for this holiday tradition at the Vantage Point Bar from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Price is $21.95 per house and includes a gingerbread house and candies for decorating and cookies and punch for eating!
