Tina, who is vice-chairperson of the Inland Branch of the Concrete Society of Southern Africa, brings extensive experience in admixtures to Chryso SA having occupied managerial posts at both Sika SA and BASF Construction Chemicals. At Sika SA, she was Gauteng Area Manager: Mpumalanga sales manager Tina Coetzee has been appointed as Area Sales Manager: Mpumalanga for leading admixture producer, Chryso Southern Africa.

Concrete; and at BASF, Key Accounts Manager. Prior to that, Tina’s concrete- related work experience included mineral sales for Pratley and site supervision and administration for Pro-Link Developments. Chryso SA’s new Mpumalanga Area Sales Manager gained experience in the practical applications of concrete when she successfully completed the Institute of Concrete Technology (ICT) of Britain’s respected Advanced Concrete Technology diploma course. In addition to sales and marketing, Tina’s duties at Chryso SA will include involvement in laboratory and site concrete tests as well as technical assistant to clients.

Developing exports Sibusiso Hlatshwayo has been appointed as Cement Exports Business Development Manager for Chryso Southern Africa.

Hlatshwayo, who will be based at the Chryso SA head office in Jet Park, Johannesburg, has spent 15 years of his career at Lafarge SA and was the

cement producer’s Performance Manager: Aggregates Product Line prior to joining Chryso. After joining Lafarge as Chemical Engineering Trainee in 2003, Sibusiso rose rapidly through the ranks to hold several other managerial positions at the company mainly focused on operations management, product innovation, and quality control. He was, for example, Quality Manager at Lafarge’s Lichtenburg works as well as Lafarge’s Cement and Fly Ash Product Line, Grinding Plant Manager at Lafarge’s Randfontein Grinding Plant, and Project Engineer at the producer’s Quality Department.
