Easier access to PROTECTIVE WORKWEAR for end users

S weet-Orr believes that everyone should be able to easily access superior quality workwear and protective clothing, it’s from this belief that the Sweet-Orr showroom was birthed. The showroom will stock both Sweet-Orr’s specialised range as well as its essential and utility workwear. “At Sweet-Orr we are passionate about ensuring individual trades- men and artisans have access to the necessary garments and ad- vice from expert staff. We believe that everyone deserves to be able to do their best work without putting themselves at risk unnecessari- ly” says John Jacobs, Managing Director, Sweet-Orr South Africa. The 150 m 2 showroom has a fresh, modern appeal that combines Sweet-Orr’s African and American heritage and is centrally located making it easy for both the private and industrial sector to access. “We’ve worked hard to create an environment and experience that is premium and professional but also warm and welcoming,” says Denver Berman-Jacob, Executive Director, Sweet-Orr South Africa. While browsing the showroom, customers will receive assistance from staff who have in depth knowledge of the Sweet-Orr range and various fabrications and treatments. This will ensure that every cus- tomer is properly equipped with the right type of protective workwear based on their requirements. Sweet-Orr boasts one of the industry’s most extensive and diverse selection of high quality and innovative workwear. It ranges from utility casual and denim to essential and highly specialised protective wear. Sweet-Orr truly made a name for themselves with their innovative specialised range which includes acid repellent, flame retardant and flame acid garment, specially developed for, low, medium and high-risk environments. Sweet-Orr, South Africa’s market leader in protective clothing, recently opened a first-of-its- kind showroom in Boksburg, Johannesburg at the Terminal Lifestyle Centre.

The brand is well recognised for its high quality and innovative workwear and currently serves companies across a number of indus- tries including the petrochemical, mining and processing industries including clients such as BP, PPC Cement, SAB, and Samancor to name a few. “We’re truly looking forward to building a closer relationship with the people who wear our garments. Our new showroom gives us the opportunity to do just that! We’re hoping to learn from our custom- ers, hear their ideas and opinions, and use their insight to help us continually improve and innovate on our range. Our motto is 'We will never let you down', and we work hard to live up to it.” “We’re excited about this next phase in our venture and look for- ward to sharing our passion for quality clothing on a more personal level with individuals. The team and I truly believe the showroom will be a game changer for the everyday workers who will now be able to get what they want when they want it,” concludes Jacobs.  From left: Denver Berman-Jacob, Executive Director of Sweet-Orr; John Jacobs, Managing Director of Sweet-Orr and Virginia Jacobs, Executive Director of Sweet-Orr.
