Instrument Cluster

Automatic Headlamp High Beam Indicator (If Equipped) It illuminates when the system automatically turns the headlamp high beam on. See Automatic High Beam Control (page 91).

Brake System Warning Lamp WARNING

See Using Cruise Control (page 222).

Direction Indicator

Driving your vehicle with the warning lamp on is dangerous. A significant decrease in braking performance may occur. It may take you longer to stop your vehicle. Have your vehicle checked as soon as possible. Driving extended distances with the parking brake engaged can cause brake failure and the risk of personal injury.

Illuminates when the left or right turn signal or the hazard warning flasher is turned on. If the

indicators stay on or flash faster, check for a burned out bulb. See Changing a Bulb (page 323).

Battery

Door Ajar

If it illuminates while driving, it indicates a malfunction. Switch off all unnecessary electrical equipment and have the system checked by your authorized dealer immediately.

It illuminates when you engage the parking brake and the ignition is on.

Displays when the ignition is on and any door is not completely closed.

If it illuminates when your vehicle is moving, make sure the parking brake is disengaged. If the parking brake is disengaged, this indicates low brake fluid level or a brake system fault. Have your vehicle checked immediately.

Electric Park Brake

Blind Spot Monitor (If Equipped)

It will illuminate or flash when the electric parking brake has a malfunction. See Electric Parking
