Welfare Reform At the time of going to press the Government is considering significant changes to the Welfare Benefit System. The Association will keep you informed of any impact on your tenancy and housing benefit. Problems Paying Rent • We operate a Rent Management Policy to make sure any problems with arrears are identified quickly. • If you have any problems paying your rent, you should contact the Housing Manager immediately. • Staff are committed to offering advice and assistance in difficult circumstances. • All matters will be dealt with in strictest confidence. There is help out there - Debtline NI. They are not a debt consolidation service, they are a charity - so you aren’t charged for their services.
