44 | THE TIME IT TAKES

B R E MON T T E S T I N G Our intention from the outset was always to design and manufacture a mechanical watch in the UK. The watch would be designed around the principles of engineering and not fashion. It would look as visually arresting in decades to come as on the day it left the workshop and it would be equally at home in the boardroom as above the clouds or below the sea. Bremont watches have been Tested Beyond Endurance by explorers, adventurers, extreme divers and the military. Now, it’s your turn.

Tested Beyond Endurance

I N T H E F I E L D

At Bremont we ensure that the timepieces are tested thoroughly, not only in the workshop, but out in the field by our Ambassadors. Clockwise from the top: British explorer Ben Saunders reached the South Pole whilst testing the new Endurance Limited Edition on his Solo Trans-Antarctic Expedition and pictured left with a watch maker at Bremont HQ. World record breaking British mountaineer, Jake Meyer, the youngest Briton to climb Everest and the Seven Summits. World record breaking adventurer Olly Hicks, who successfully completed the world’s first documented crossing from Greenland to Scotland by kayak. Former Royal Marine Commandos Louis Nethercott and Anthony Lambert who have embarked on ‘Expedition 5’ - a world- first expedition to traverse the planet’s five largest islands, unsupported.
