A mixed franking cover from Newchwang to Stockholm, Sweden, on front bearing the Dowager first printing 6 cands brown and 12 cands brown orange, both tied by ‘NEWCHWANG’ seal chop in black, matching the ‘CUSTOMS/ NEWCHWANG/9.9.96’ on reverse, alongside with overprinted ‘Chine’ in red on French Navigation and Commerce 25c, tied by ‘SHANG-HAI/11.9.96’ Fr.P.O cds, on reverse with ‘CUSTOMS/SHANGHAI/13.9.96’ transit, ‘STOCKHOLM/29.10.96’ arrival cds, center folded and roughly opened at top, but not affecting any stamps or cancellation. Bearing CIP Coiling Dragon 1/2c x 2, Dowager large figures surcharged 1.50mm on 2nd printing 1c on 1 cand, each tied by bilingual ‘WOOSUNG’ cds, plus HK QV 2c carmine, tied by small ring ‘HANKOW/13.7.90’ Br.P.O cds, with ‘I.P.O’ tri-print in black frame on HK QV and Coiling Dragon 1/2c., missing back flap.
