Kasto expands in Nor th America with new showroom and technology centre

Armin Stolzer, chairman and CEO of the Kasto Group, addressed participants with an overview of Kasto’s history, products and philosophy. Board member Sönke Krebber presented digital solutions by Kasto in the context of Industry 4.0 and also introduced the company’s VisualAssistance service technology, which allows troubleshooting of Kasto products without a service technician having to physically be at the customer’s site. Attendees were able to view the products on display, which included the KASTOecostore bar variant, which was displayed for the first time in the North American market. Kasto Maschinenbau GmbH & Co KG – Germany Xiris expands sales team XIRIS Automation Inc, a manufacturer of welding cameras and weld inspection software, has expanded its technical sales representation in North America to better serve customers. Norm Sted, director of sales for North America, said, “Xiris has one of the best welding cameras, but we also want to have the best technical sales support.” Xiris has therfore set out to expand its outside sales team by adding four outside representatives in Canada and twenty in the USA. The goal of the initiative is to improve the reaction time it takes to train distributors and provide faster response to requests for demonstrations. The company aims to help customers improve their overall welding, manufac- turing and fabricating by providing “better images, better decisions and better pro- cess control.” The company serves the entire welding, cutting, fabricating, tube and pipe industries, as well as additive manufacturing.
