Is the company dedicated to piping fabrication? Yes. CIMTAS Pipe was established in 2002 in the Bursa Free Trade Zone in Gemlik, Turkey, and is a market leading com- pany. Since its establishment, we have added several projects to our portfolio – fabrication of piping for multiple petrochemical plants, LNG terminals, power plants and gas/steam turbines distributed to every corner of the globe, from Australia to Ger- many, Thailand to USA, Northeast Russia to Equatorial Guinea.

n Can you star t off by telling us about the CIMTAS Group? CIMTAS was established in 1973 as the industrial subsidiary of Turkey’s biggest contractor, ENKA. The group now operates five factories in Gemlik, Turkey, one module and shipyard in Golcuk, Turkey, and a factory in Ningbo, China. At CIMTAS Group we have completed many pioneering and demanding projects since our inception. Some examples are: the full structural steel fabrication, including girder and towers, girder trial assembly and installation of Osman Gazi Bridge – the fourth longest suspension bridge in the world; fabrication of more than 1,000 tons of mega pressure vessels, the heaviest/longest single piece of equipment ever exported from Turkey; LSAW pipe and fitting manufacturing as well as spool fabrication of the Corpus Christi LNG terminal – the first LNG terminal in the USA; the full steel fabrication and installation of the Mecca Clock Tower – the second tallest
