Speech Pathology Australia attends the ACU Expo

On Tuesday the 27th of February the Australian Catholic University (ACU) held their Professional Associations Expo at the North Sydney Campus. Volunteers, Emma Arazzi, Fiona Eastley and Puttanna Mahananda talked to a range of students from a number of disciplines about the role of speech

pathologists, benefits of being a SPA member and welcomed them to join and participate in ACT/NSW Branch Meetings. We look forward to welcoming all speech pathology students from ACU to be active members of the association.

ACT Journal Club

The ACT Journal Club had an excellent turnout for their first meeting of 2018. They exchanged research and practical tips for literacy intervention with adolescent clients. The next meeting is in May and ACT speechies are encouraged to email Andrew Watt (andrew@ unityspeech.com) if they’d like to join.
