Check In

Late Check in Processes

Late Check In and Night Porter on duty •

If a guest arrives after 11pm the night porter should follow the normal check in processes

4.14.2

Late Check In and no Night Porter •

If a late check in has been agreed between the lodge and the guest, wait for the guest to arrive and check them in as normal If a late check in has not been agreed between the lodge and the guest, the lodge should attempt to contact the guest to determine their arrival time. If the guest does not arrive, their reservation will be a NO SHOW, once the night audit has run.

Checking in a Late Arrival Guest AFTER the End of Day Process

Checking in a Late Arrival not PAID (More than 1 night) •

Locate the guest booking from the Dashboard. It will have status NO SHOW

Select REINSTATE and [YES] to confirm. The reservation window will open and the reservation will have been reduced by one night Take payment and check in the guest, manually amending the payment information to ensure this covers the whole of the stay On the billing window, [POST] the amount of the first night’s stay to Accommodation Code 1000 - with a Supplement text stating Late Arrival

[CLOSE] the billing window. The second and subsequent night’s accommodation will be posted by the system
