Poor Road Conditions  Furthermore in the event of temporary deterioration in road  conditions, possibly due to road works and narrower coned lanes,  poor weather conditions or at night, all drivers are reminded to take  particular care when driving and use slower speeds and plan for  longer journey times, with appropriate breaks.  Eyesight  The highway code requires that all drivers have vision that meets  certain requirements, Lockton requires that yours do meet the  requirement. In the event that you currently do not use glasses or  contact lens to correct your vision, either generally or when driving,  and you suspect that your vision does not meet with the  requirement of the highway code then Lockton requires you do not  drive and that you request an vision test which Lockton will either  arrange through HR or reimburse the cost of the standard eye test to  the individual. If this reveals that glasses or contact lens are required  to correct your vision then you should not drive until these are  available to use, Lockton regrets it cannot fund the purchase of  these.  The driver of the vehicle is liable for these charges and costs at all  times. The only cost that Lockton will reimburse is the congestion  charge – where the charge has arisen solely due to a business  meeting need and not through a journey associated with the regular  commute to work.  Hiring a Vehicle for use on Company Business  In exceptional circumstances you may hire a car for business use  provided that: Motoring offences, speeding, parking fines,  congestion charges, fixed penalty notices
