TOLEDO Within its walls Toledo preserves an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues. The cathedral, one of the highlights of Gothic art, is well worth a visit as is the Alcázar de Toledo, a Medieval fortress from which you'll be able to enjoy beautiful panoramic views over the Tagus River and the outskirts of the city.

You'll also be able to make out the profile of the Campo de Layos golf course. There you'll find a balanced, demanding course with four lakes coming very much into play. Some days of the week they have special offers which include the green fee , a picnic at the 9th hole and a traditional local casserole with meat, greens and chick peas. A perfectly satisfying way to round off a day's golf.
