GOLF IN SPAIN

The regions along the north coast of the Spanish mainland are known as Green Spain , and feature estuaries, cliffs and mountains. A perfect setting for golfers seeking new challenges. In Galicia, from the beautiful but challenging course at the Club de Golf Ría de Vigo (24 holes) you'll have amazing views over the city of Vigo, the Rande Bridge and the deep-blue sea. Take a boat trip to the nearby Cíes Islands and take a dip on some of the best beaches in the world. In Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country there are incredible golf courses right next to the beach, near delightful fishing villages and surrounded by unspoiled nature.

The  Llanes Municipal Golf Course , just 3 kilometres from this beautiful village in Asturias, is an 18-hole links course in incredible natural surroundings between the Cantabrian Sea and the Picos de Europa mountains. The Real Golf de Pedreña has panoramic views of the city of Santander and the course is quite challenging. This is where the golfing legend, Severiano “Seve” Ballesteros, was born and who became world famous for winning 5 majors . The Real Club Golf de Zarauz , right next to the Cantabrian Sea in Guipúzcoa, is the only golf course in Spain made of sand: 9 holes and an unforgettable experience.
