the County Court of the County in which the lands are situate, then and in such case service of the Petition and all other docu ments may be effected by registered letter, and the production of the certificate of the posting of such registered letter, signed by the Postmaster and initialled, shall be considered good service of the said Petition ; provided that the Court, unless satisfied that every necessary party has been duly served, shall adjourn the hearing and direct service upon such party in such manner as to the Court shall seem fit. (5.) Two copies of the Petition shall be lodged with the Clerk of the Crown and Peace for the County in which such Petition is proposed to be heard two clear days before the return day. (6.) The Court, if it thinks fit, may, on the hearing of the Petition, either make an absolute order for the rectification of the Register or make a conditional order for the rectification thereof, and may direct notice of same to be published and given to such persons as it may direct, with a statement that the order will be made absolute at the next sittings unless cause be shown to the contrary. Such cause shall be shown by notice of motion served upon the petitioner and upon the Clerk of the Crown and Peace not less than seven clear days before such next sittings. (7.) The rules and practice now in force in the equity procedure in the County Court shall prevail in reference to any matter not herein provided for. (8.) The costs of any proceedings taken under these rules shall in all cases be in the discretion of the County Court Judge. When he himself fixes the amount, such amount shall not exceed the amount of costs which may be awarded under the Equity Jurisdic tion of the County Court higher scale. When the Judge orders costs to be taxed, same shall, unless he shall otherwise order, be taxed under the Rules and Schedule of Fees relating to equity proceedings under the County Courts (Ireland) Orders higher scale so far as applicable.
