Identifying development needs

You and your manager should also work together to identify your development needs both in the short term and long term.

At Chivas Brothers we adopt the 70:20:10 approach to learning;

• 70% of your knowledge will come from on-the-job experiences • 20% from observing those around you • And 10% from more formal types of learning

Each year you will have a development discussion as part of the Performance review process, where you will discuss any development needs. These will be recorded on Workday. Any formal training should be recorded on Chivas CASK.
