majority of the catching chores, a task she will share with newcomers Cecilia Llanos and Melissa Reinard, Aimee's twin sister. First base will be patrolled by one of three players - Wasilewski (.392 batting average), Roper or Aimee Reinard. Second base is the domain of 1990MVP June Andrews (.305, 23 runs scored), who will also occupy the second spot in the batting order. The number three spot in the batting order will belong to slick-fielding junior shortstop Julie Doria (.386, 28 runs scored). When she's not in centerfield, sophomore Angie Straub (.349, 21 stolen bases) will hold down third base. Depth in the infield will be provided from Cisneros and freshmen Amy Sepkowitz, Heidi Darby and Debora Presson. Sophomore rightfielder Marianne Stahl (.264, 3 triples) returns to ·achor a young outfield corps. Sophomore Renee Abaya is expected to provide speed to the USO offense while

handling leftfield duties. Two freshmen considered to be exceptional defensive players, Cindy Harris and Josie Hudak, will see the majority of the action in centerfield. Depth in the outfield will be provided by another pair of freshmen, Linda Adamson and Andrea Sirianni. Caudillo is looking for big things from his 1991 Toreras. He feels the ingredients are all present for his team to have an outstanding season. He sees a victory total "somewhere in therangeof 30 to35"as entirely possible for his 1991 Toreras. Coach Caudillo feels that his blend of youth and experience will carry them throughout 1991 and will provide the corner– stone for what should be an interesting future for USO women's softball.
