MONTEPULCIANOD’ABRUZZODOP RISERVA Grapes are hand-selected and hand-harvested. After a soft pressing, a longmaceration of the skins ensues at a controlled temperature. First refined in stainless steel vats and later in large, Slavonian oak botti, Laus Vitae is then transferred to small, French Barriques where it achieves its full character. The wine is inky purple with rich, ripe tannins that frame layers of flavor. Primary aromas of mulberry, violets, and stewed cherry join with cocoa powder, leather, black pepper, and clove. The layers continue to unfold throughout a long and very well-balanced finish.
