MONTEPULCIANOD’ABRUZZODOC VIGNETO SANT’ EUSANIO Sant’ Eusanio is a magnificent parcel of 2 hectares set amid the pine forests of interior Abruzzo. The vineyard is situated at 1,500 ft. above sea-level in the highest zone of all the Valle Reale. This vineyard, in particular, is distinguished by its northern exposure resulting in themostwide-ranging day-to-night temperature variations in the valley. These extreme microclimatic conditions make a unique wine. Sant’ Eusanio is an uncompromising expression of mountain Montepulciano and speaks the language of acidity and freshness, in contrast to the rich, round Montepulciano wines from Abruzzo’s coast.
