Transfer Station Manager The Transfer Station is located at 41 Austin Road. Residents of Mechanic Falls can use this facility for disposing of their mixed household trash, recyclables, appliances, inert materials, scrap metal and tires. Some disposal fees do apply. Please reference the new fee schedule on our town’s website or request a copy from the Town Office. A permit or Transfer Station sticker is required to use the facility and is available at the Town Office. Transfer Station stickers are $10.00 per year and expire annually on June 30th. Please remember that recycling is mandatory and the more we recycle, the more we save as a town! Thank you for your efforts and for another great year!
