Great Job Tyler and Katie

Neda LaFuente, Commander-Field Operations

I wanted to tell you about the outstanding job your paramedics did. It is my belief that the paramedics of D1 (A. Lorenz and Tyler Smith) and the officers involved on scene saved the subject’s life. The call was regarding a suicidal subject who attempted to overdose on pills. From my understanding, the subject almost died in the back of the ambulance and the paramedics were able to get him stabilized. I believe this is worthy of a commendation and/ or a life-saving award. Thank you, Sgt. Michael Burgeson #5325, APD

WELCOME

I received a call from the patient’s wife, she asked that I please let someone know how grateful she was for the assistance given by the paramedics. She stated she did not know who to tell but would like the message relayed. She stated she will try not to cry but her husband was at Mt. Bonnell, was really hard to get to but they went down there, got there and were able to get the patient to the EMS and transported to have surgery. She stated they saved his life and she is so grateful for them! Thank you, Lisa Castillo, ATCEMS Ambulance Billing and Coding Representative II

We are pleased to announce Brittney Rangel as our new Ambulance Billing & Coding Rep l and Yvette Crowell as the new Revenue Cycle Manager. Please congratulate them in their new roles with EMS when you meet them. We are excited to have Brittney and Yvette and look forward to the positive impact they will have on the ATCEMS team.
