OGN will fabricate a series of 18 pre-assembled units (PAUs) for the Shell-operated onshore plant. The project will increase the capacity of the facility allowing it to export to the UK via the pipeline to Easington, UK. The plant is today connected to the Ormen Lange gas field 120 kilometres off the west coast of Norway. Ormen Lange was developed as a subsea tieback to the Nyhamna Gas Plant where the gas is dehydrated, hydrocarbon de-pointed and compressed. Gas is exported through the Langeled Pipeline to gas markets in the UK. Approx 4,300 tonnes, with individual units weighing up to 886 tonnes
