Successful Real Estate AD Writing - Security Title Agency

10 Point guide to Successful REAL ESTATE ADWRITING

1 Inspect the property before you write about it.

6 Use enough space to say what must be said. An incomplete ad is a waste, not saving.

2 Allow yourself sufficient time. Don’t wait until the last minute.

7 Be honest. Don’t exaggerated. Don’t be too flowery.

3 Visualize the buyers who are most likely to buy and talk to them. Keep their viewpoint, not that of the sellers. 4 Build your headline around a feature of the property which will appeal to your most likely buyer. 5 Tell them what they want to know, and tell them enough to keep their interest. Anticipate their questions and answer them.

8 Avoid trite, overworked words and phrases.

9 Avoid excessive abbreviations. Only you can understand them. 10 After writing the ad, read it and ask yourself this question: “Would this sell the house if I said it to the prospect when talking to them face to face?” If the answer is no, the ad needs revision
