Grand Opening The 149 th Congress of Correction kicks off with the Health Care Network Reception

A s corrections professionals from around the world traveled to Boston for the 149 th Congress of Correction, those who arrived on Friday, Aug. 2 congregated in the Sheraton Boston Hotel, Constitution A & B for the much-anticipated annual Health Care Network Reception. Sponsored by Correct Rx Pharmacy Services, this event is renowned for conference attendees to engage and reconnect with their colleagues and peers in the field, and make new connections as well. Per the honored tradition, Dr. Ellen Yankellow, President and CEO of Correct Rx Pharmacy Services, was introduced by ACA Executive Director James A. Gondles Jr. and gave a warm welcome to the crowd of attendees. In her remarks, she stressed the importance of implementing best-practices in order to make a positive difference in the lives of returning citizens. As the night came to a close, conference- goers were prepared to take on the workshops, meetings, sessions and other events that the Congress had in store.
