d. Any other exterior materials of significance to the design.

5. Stake-out Prior to Final Approval Before final approval and the commencement of any site clearing, the applicant shall stake and string all property lines, corners, of the proposed structure and identify with tape all trees to be removed. The Committee shall then be notified to inspect the site for compliance with the approved plans. When compliance has been ascertained, the Committee member will sign the site plan as “Approved”. 6. Meetings The Committee meets monthly. At each monthly meeting, the Committee will review member applications submitted for ARC approval. Contact the ARC Administrator for a schedule of the meeting dates. Any application should be submitted no later than the close of business on the Thursday before the meeting day. Applications may be obtained on the Fiddlesticks Country Club website at www.fiddlestickscc.com or by contacting the ARC Administrator.

If an application is incomplete, the ARC Administrator will contact you for necessary information to complete the application.

Any applicant who would like to attend the monthly ARC meeting should contact the ARC Committee Chairperson to request placement on the agenda.

7. Architectural Review Committee Response The Committee may offer specific suggestions or reject an application based on the judgment of its members without citing specifics for the following reasons, among others:

a. Insufficient information to adequately evaluate the design or design intent.

b. Poor overall design quality.

c. Incompatible design elements.

d. Inappropriate design concept or design treatment.

e. A design found to have an adverse effect on the character of Fiddlesticks Country Club or its residents.

The Committee will not normally comment on or reject a custom-design home because of its interior elements, except in cases where those features affect the exterior appearance. The Committee may, however, reject the design of speculative houses because of interior design features when, in its judgment, the livability of the submitted design does not meet the standards expected of speculative houses at Fiddlesticks.

B. Construction

1. Pre-Construction Activities

a. NO lot is to be cleared or construction otherwise started without written approval of the plans for that lot by the Committee. Before approval is given, the applicant must sign the Fiddlesticks Building Construction Agreement in which the applicant agrees to
