Corner lots or over size lots may require additional shade trees. • Views of the waterways from adjoining lots shall not be shielded from view. NO plant material over 3 feet in height or less than 6 feet of clear trunk shall be planted in the area formed by the rear of the house, side and rear property lines. • The shade tree patterns and root structure shall be considered in choosing plant location. • Ground cover beds shall be planted in such a manner that it will provide 75% coverage in six months and 100% in 12 months. • Long horizontal and vertical surfaces should be interrupted and modulated by plants of varying heights. • Each lot shall have installed an underground sprinkler system capable of sufficiently sprinkling all lawn and plant areas. Water shall not be taken from any lakes for irrigation. • Strong definition of property lines MUST be avoided. Plants or hedge trim lines are to be at least 18 inches from the property lines. • Any outdoor lighting should be low key. Intimate special effect or accent lighting is encouraged in moderation. Colored lighting is NOT desirable. Outdoor lighting that lights up any portion of one of the golf courses or common areas of the club is the sole responsibility of Fiddlesticks Country Club, and is controlled exclusively by the Board and appropriate committees. A small amount of “spill over” from backyard or security lighting will be allowed on a case-by-case basis as determined by the Board on recommendation from the Architectural Review Committee. • The use of benches, statues, fountains, flags and flag poles, decorative rocks, arbors, gnomes and art objects are subject to the review of the Committee on a case-by-case basis. Permanent play structures defined as those intended for more than 30 days, such as, basketball hoops, skateboard ramps, swing sets, tree houses, and other recreational structures are also subject to the review of the Committee on a case by case basis. • Location relative to the street, golf course, front, back and side yards, neighbors, size and height, materials and general visual impact will be considered. Additionally, these items will be evaluated for potential safety hazards associated with tropical storms and hurricanes.
