DESTINY 2 GENRE: FPS PLATFORM: PS4 | XBO RELEASE: 06/09/17 MULTIPLAYER: YES

Destiny 2 rids you of your Light and takes away your home. Ghaul is the leader of the Cabal Red Legion, and demands to steal the Traveller’s Light for himself and his armies. As a result, your Light is gone, and the Tower and the Last City have been destroyed. Ikora, Zavala and Cayde-6 are scattered, and it has fallen to you to reunite the ultimate fireteam and restore order to the galaxy. Still with us? The sequel has taken the first game and fine- tuned its better aspects, and as a whole made the grind more rewarding. You'll find frequent drops of good loot, and rarely doubles of stuff you already have.

Destiny 2 's story is meaningful and well-planned; the addition of a few new faces is welcomed. Ghaul proves a menacing new enemy – somewhere between Ben 10's Vilgax and a 'space Bane' – and the Nightfall and first Raid are truly challenging. The grind is more rewarding, the environments even more remarkable, and the plot remains a compelling space opera, but this time with more weight. Regular Destiny players can expect an exciting expansion of the original concept with a plethora of fresh features to enjoy. However, Destiny 2 is equally accessible to those new to the franchise.

PROJECT CARS 2 GENRE: RACING PLATFORM: PS4 | XBO | PC RELEASE: 22/09/17 MULTIPLAYER: YES

Those who have an appreciation for racing sims – and are adept at mastering them – will undoubtedly want to check out Project CARS 2 . It's one of the most realistic, immersive, and quite frankly, unforgiving simulations you'll ever play. It's also one of the most comprehensive, with over 180 cars and over 60 track locations available at launch. Unless you turn on a tonne of assists, even the most experienced racers will find PC2 challenging. It's a proper, genuine racing simulator, which means focusing on the corners and really paying attention to your braking. The AI will keep you in

line, and any damage to your car will hinder your racing performance on the track. You'll run into rain, fog, and all kinds of other unpredictable weather patterns as you race. And be warned – how you start may very well not be how you finish. Project CARS 2 will necessitate a lot of adjustment for gamers used to more rudimentary racers. Once you're out the other side as a prolific racing champion, it's easy to see how rewarding the game can be. Not to mention the fact that you can throw pretty much anything sideways around Mount Panorama – not that we condone that type of behaviour...
