THE President reported that, with the Secretary, he had interviewed officials of the Department of Supplies with a view to obtaining an allowance of petrol for solicitors for business purposes. He pointed out particularly the difficulty experienced by country solicitors in carrying on their practice- having regard to the difficulties of obtaining transport to attend the various courts.
