Reviewing Stakeholder Feedback:

When reviewing and incorporating stakeholder feedback into the performance assessment, the manager should consider:

• Where best to align the feedback example to – e.g. an objective, or a specific competency. • Are there any themes arising from the feedback received? • The frequency of occurrence of behaviour or action of the example being referred to. • Whether any points require further clarification – if so, the manager should talk this through with the stakeholder – ensure you understand the example before sharing this with the employee. Key examples should then be discussed and captured in the relevant sections of the online form.

Managers need to consider the time it will take to gather feedback, prepare examples and plan how to communicate the information.
