Demonstration of the Competencies/Values:

In preparing for this area there are three recommended documents/sources to refer to:

1. Your Job Description and key responsibilities 2. Your Learning Plan 3. The Leadership Competency Framework (for job holders in Grades A-C), or the Company Values (for job holders in Bands D-E).

The following questions may help:

• How have you positively demonstrated each of the competencies for your job? • How often did you demonstrate the competencies – often, sometimes, rarely? • What could you do more of or less of to demonstrate what is expected of you for each competency? • Which competencies have you positively demonstrated by displaying an interest in and taking responsibility for continually improving yourself and achieving the defined elements of your Learning Plan. • The competency descriptors provide helpful examples of what is expected from each competency… how have you demonstrated the points referenced? What else have you done to demonstrate this? • Which competencies are development areas for you and what support do you need in order to develop this area? • For further information on how to assess competencies please click here
