• CSBS recently revised NMLS Privacy Notice; effective June 2018 – Combined two policies (System and Website) and updated • Provides examples of: – How information may be used/shared – What is and is not PII; sensitive PII • Gives users their choices (not provide; unsubscribe; NMLS unique) • How will CSBS respond in the event of a breach – Investigate – Notify without delay (considering law enforcement; identifying individuals; etc.) – Coordinate with applicable agencies – Responsibility to notify affected individuals – CSBS/SRR (NMLS Terms of Use updated)
