CUP COMPETITIONS RULES

1. NAMES OF TROPHIES The Cups shall be called “The Senior Cup” “The Challenge Cup”, “The Junior Cup”, “The Minor Cup”, “The Sunday Morning Senior Cup”, “The Sunday Morning Junior Cup, “The Sunday PM Cup”, “The Youth Cups”, “The Women’s Challenge Cup”, “The Junior Alliance Cups”, “The Jack Hogg Shield”, “The Peter Waghorn Memorial Cup”, “The Intermediate Cup”, “The Dave Minney Memorial Cup”. The Trophies shall never become the absolute property of any Club. The President, Chairman and Hon. Cup Secretary for the time being and for intents and purposes will be the legal owners of the Cups in trust of the Association. 2. MANAGEMENT OF COMPETITIONS The entire control and management of the Cup Competitions shall be vested in the Council and the Cup Committee of the Association. These Competitions will take precedence over all other fixtures other than Football Association or County Association Fixtures. 3. CUP COMPETITIONS AND STATUS OF CLUBS TO COMPETE THEREIN All affiliated Clubs who play in the Peterborough and District Leagues, must compete in the associated Cup Competitions. Clubs may apply for exemption which can only be granted by the Council. 3a THE SENIOR CUP. To be competed for by Teams from the Peterborough and District Football League Premier Division and up to a maximum of eight teams from the Peterborough and District Football League Division One. 3b THE CHALLENGE CUP. To be competed for by the remaining members of Peterborough and District Football League Division One and Division Two of the Peterborough and District Football League. 3c THE JUNIOR CUP. To be competed for by Teams from the Peterborough and District Football League Division Three and up to a maximum of Eight Teams from Peterborough and District League Division Four. 3d THE MINOR CUP. To be competed for by remaining teams from The Peterborough and District Football League Division Four and teams from the Peterborough and District Football League Division Five. 3e THE SUNDAY MORNING SENIOR CUP. To be competed for by members of the Sunday Morning League, Premier and Division One teams. 3f THE SUNDAY MORNING JUNIOR CUP. To be competed for by members of all other divisions of the Sunday Morning League. 3g THE SUNDAY PM CUP. To be competed for by members of The Peterborough and District Sunday Football League. 3h THE YOUTH CUP(S). To be competed for by members of the Peterborough and District Youth League. The age group(s) to be determined annually. 3i THE JUNIOR ALLIANCE CUP(S). To be competed for by members of the Peterborough Junior Alliance League. The age group(s) to be determined annually. 3j THE WOMEN’S CUP. To be competed for by bona-fide Women’s Clubs. 3k THE JACK HOGG SHIELD. To be competed for by Clubs selected by Council. Entry is at the sole invitation of the PFA. 3l THE PFA/JUNIOR ALLIANCE 6-ASIDE TOURNAMENT To be competed for by clubs selected by Council. Entry is at the invitation of the PFA and Peterborough Junior Alliance League. 4. DATES AND TIMES OF CUP TIES The dates of which the matches of each Competition shall be played, shall be fixed by the Cup committee but may be subject to alteration. Times of Kick-Off will be 2pm for August, September, October, March, April and May, 1.30pm November, December, January and February. Sunday Morning Cup Kick-Off 10.30am. These times may not be changed without mutual consent of both teams and the Cup Committee. The Youth Cup may kick off at 10.30am or in line with afore mentioned kick off times. (The Junior Alliance Cups may kick off at a time either sanctioned by the league or a mutually agreed time). Where an evening kick off is sanctioned the time shall be determined by the Cup committee. Kick off times for all finals shall be determined by the Cup committee.

5. ENTRANCE FEES Clubs shall forward entrance fees by August 1st as follows:
