Håmex will show its complete range of exchangeable tungsten carbide inserts for dies and cutters. These eliminate the need for regrinding and allow replacements instead of the tools having to be scrapped. The patended dies have a rotatable and exchangeable insert of tungsten carbide with up to three profiles. Changing from one profile to another can be done very quickly, which allows three nail dimensions to be manufactured with minimum set-up times. The cutters have an exchangeable insert with two cutting profiles. When worn to a certain level, the insert is turned 90 degrees to a new cutting profile. When both cutting sides areworn out, a new insert can be fitted to the holder. The complete programme of tungsten carbide tools for nail manufacturing also consists of cutters for Enkotec machines and chisel feeders, cutters, punches and wire guides for Wafios N90 machines.
