Forty Days Full - An Invitation To Real Life

painting technique was flawed and could be better executed. We could use more training if we wanted to be better artists. It would be easy for an expert to point out failed attempts to capture what was seen. But, these two paintings have become two of my most priceless possessions. To this day they sit in my office. When I look at them, I am reminded of this amazing day. I am reminded of my relationship with my daughter. I am reminded of her unique perspective of the ocean and lighting that is different than mine. Even now, my eyes are misted with joy and emotion for the daughter I dearly love. When I think of this day, I am complete, I am full. This was a perfect day! Again, life is a journey, not a destination. My healing comes as my attentions are constantly drawn to Him. What elevates me is looking at Christ and what he has done! We have a good Father who is not just out to fix you. He wants to live with you. He wants to share memories with you. Do you think God has perfect days he remembers with you? Maybe it's the day you surrendered your life to Him. Or maybe, it's the day you were baptized or filled with the Spirit. Or, the day you found comfort in Him in the midst of a great loss. Maybe it's the day you were so happy when a dream was fulfilled. Scripture says that our sins are as far from Him as the east is from the west, while His thoughts about us are as numerous as the sands upon the seashore. He remembers! He remembers times with you! What days does He remember with you and declare 'Perfect!?'
